The Homes Petersfield office opened in 2013 and, like our first branch in Alton, we are now the town’s leading estate agent for listings and sales.
The team here is led by Branch Manager, Ollie Williams who has been with the company since 2013 and he is supported by Karen Goodman, Sales Manager, together with Karen Roberts, Olesia Turkot and Dawn Smith, our Client Advisors. Business Co-owner, Charlie Barr, has worked in the local area since 2002 and takes a full time active role in both sales and lettings. The office is located in a prominent position in College Street, visible as you come round the one way system towards the High Street. There’s convenient public parking right opposite the office, next to the Red Lion pub and also behind us in the main Central car park.
Petersfield’s vibrant market town atmosphere and location on the edge of the South Downs, makes it one of the most popular places to live in the region.
Pop in and talk to the team – they’re all from the local area and waiting to help you!
Quotes from Homes Petersfield customers –
“I can only praise the service I received from the Petersfield staff throughout the whole process, from my initial meeting, to receiving an offer, right through to exchange of contracts. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. First class service ... a rarity these days!” (Mrs G – Seller)
“I initially decided to go with a cheaper online agent to save some money, but it was a bad decision and so I then switched to Homes Petersfield. They were all so great and friendly and really did all they could do to sell our property. The sales progression team kept us and our buyer fully informed throughout the whole process which was nearly 8 months long. I'm very thankful to the whole team, who really invested their time for us. Worth every penny for sure and I will definitely use them again in the future.” (Ms B – Seller)

Petersfield is a genuine traditional market town that has kept its character and individuality. There’s an abundance of cafes, inns and restaurants including a number listed in the Good Food Guide and this makes the area the perfect place for those who want to live within striking distance of a social hub where you can enjoy a good cup of coffee, delicious eats and a decent pint. The shopping experience is also great, with a monthly farmers’ market and twice weekly general markets held in The Square.
Families looking for recreation are well catered for with a great leisure centre, a couple of local golf clubs, a rugby club, a football club and its very own retro open-air swimming pool in a garden setting. Last, but not least, is Petersfield Heath - just a short stroll from the town - with 69 acres of parkland, a boating lake, cricket club, play area and a great lakeside café.
Cyclists, riders and walkers can make the most of Petersfield’s exceptional rural setting in the South Downs National Park with chalk downland slopes rising beyond the townscape. Queen Elizabeth Country Park lies to the south with some 20 miles of waymarked trails. The town is certainly not known for its wild nightlife, but it does have a much-praised youth theatre, a number of Festivals and a great local museum.
Petersfield is really well connected with frequent direct trains to Guildford and Portsmouth plus London Waterloo. The main A3 is only one mile from the town, providing easy access to the south coast in one direction and London in the other. All in all, a great town, lovely surrounding countryside and villages, plenty to do, well connected and retaining a strong sense of community.
